Brian Cookson

As President of RDP, Brian has been assisting a wide variety of companies obtain SR&ED tax credits and government assistance for over 20 years. Brian has been practicing exclusively in this area since 1985 and has reviewed thousands of SR&ED claims. Brian has lectured and written extensively on a wide variety of subjects pertaining to SR&ED tax credits and has presented seminars to industry groups and tax conferences. Brian is a chartered accountant and worked with Ernst & Young in their high-tech services group from 1979 to 1987.

Brian has also assisted companies with respect to corporate finance, tax matters and mergers and acquisitions.


Arne Luik

As Vice President of RDP, Arne has focussed his efforts on SR&ED tax credits exclusively since 1999. Arne is a chartered accountant and MBA and has extensive experience in the high-tech industry with IBM as a Systems Engineering Representative, and National Systems Testing Laboratories as a Technical Representative.

Arne has written and edited several articles on SR&ED, government assistance and financing. Arne has also assisted companies with respect to corporate finance, tax matters and strategic planning.


The RDP Team 

RDP Associates Inc. offers a technical staff that consists of fifteen specialists, with backgrounds in various areas of science and engineering.  A technical expert will be assigned to your file based on your company’s specific area of advancement, and will evaluate, then prepare your technical report.

The RDP financial team will work in conjunction with our technical team and your accountant to draft a cost summary capturing all your eligible expenditure.
