RDP Associates Inc. RDP Associates is proud to mention our ongoing success in Canada as well as the United Kingdom and United States.
The United Kingdom Government has a similar program/incentive to boost business R&D that is administered by the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The credit can range from 7.5% up to 24% of qualified R&D expenditures.
In the United States, the equivalent R&D tax credit program was substantially changed a few years ago. While it varies from state to state, the credit is around 10% of qualified R&D expenditure.
Though not as generous as Canada’s, Scientific Research & Experimental Development Tax Credit Program, which is equivalent to a 35% refund from the federal government plus provincial R&D credits where applicable, R&D tax credit programs are still worth investigating.
If you believe you are conducting R&D in these respective countries or have any business interest, subsidiaries or companies operating in these jurisdictions, RDP is available to assist in all Research and Development tax related issues.
RDP's qualified staff of technical writers provides R&D services to companies, both large and small, in the areas of manufacturing, computer software technology, biotechnology and many other industries. Each consultant has considerable experience in preparing technical project descriptions and is fully conversant with the R&D tax credit rules and criteria.
We at RDP Associates believe it is imperative that claims are filed within six months after year-end. We are more than happy to assist you in a full claim preparation, or review your own claim prior to submission.
To discuss this matter in more detail or any other tax related matter; please contact Christopher Bodnar at 416-368-9341 ex 247.
All the best in 2008.
